Welcome to 315 to the Castle, a journey built on faith, discipline, and a lot of miles. What began as a goal to run a Disney half-marathon has turned into a story about showing up, pushing through doubt, and discovering what’s possible one step at a time. This space is where the miles, lessons, and community come together.

What made you do this? I’ve struggled with my weight for most of my life, but I reached a point where I knew it was time to take better care of the body God gave me. 315 to the Castle is the journey that started with that decision — choosing progress, perseverance, and faith one mile at a time.
What's the end goal? My goal is to better myself and inspire others along the way. That means being open and vulnerable about the journey, even when it’s uncomfortable. Real growth happens when we step outside of what feels safe and trust that each step forward has a purpose.
How long is the training?As part of this journey, I’m following a Run, Walk, Run marathon training program — a 29-week training plan designed to prepare runners for the Disney races. The goal is to gradually build endurance by alternating running and walking, proving that even something as big as a marathon can be accomplished step by step.
